So, I want to start out by saying that I am really not all that educated about the ACLU and all that they believe and try to accomplish. Quite frankly, I have better things to do with my time than research their organization. What I do know about them, is they seem to fight a lot to have religious symbols removed from public places and it really irks me. I heard today on the radio about their fight to remove a cross from a war memorial in San Diego, California. From what I heard about it on the radio, it seems they have been fighting for the removal of this cross for many years.
From what I can gather, this group of over 500,000 or so people, spends all of their free time and energy fighting silly stuff like this that should just be left alone. If you think about it, if you took those 500,000 people and figured out how many hours they spent toward trying to get laws changed or trying to fight for things they believe in. That would total an astronomical number of hours. Think of all the good that would come, if they instead used that number of hours to help out at soup kitchens, children's hospitals or impoverished countries around the world. It's sad, yep, sad.

Yeah, we signed the petition to keep it...Paul listens to the ACLJ radio and has been hearing about it. Also, they are atheists want to change our National Motto, which is now, I God We Trust!!!
The ACLU has a Godless agenda and are never going to change. It's unfortunate that they receive millions of dollars from people like G.Sornos, a liberal democrat who is more than willing to advance their causes and fund them.
Jerks
The sick thing, from what I've heard is that the ACLU won't fight to help remove sexually explicit and pornographic billboards along highways, but they view the cross as abhorant!? WOW. Like the bible says, in the last days there will be men who call good evil and who call evil good. I for one and going to utilize my resources for Christ and fight back!
Thing is, the ACLU isn't all bad. They are fighting for freedoms. They have actually argued that kids have the right to carry their Bible to school.
Recently, the ACLU told our school district that they cannot make a parent pay for a computer for his child to use, that isn't equal opportunity. As part of the settlement, we are getting our money back for the Lease-To-Own program that we were roped into. I appreciate the ACLU looking out for the little guy. Sure, I can absolutely afford to rent the computer. But what about others? It was mandatory, it was discriminatory and it was wrong. Yay ACLU.
